With social research comes the opportunity to develop diverse voices and viewpoints within communities and populations. When Current Change provides community assessment or program evaluation, we seek to create lasting alliances among people and groups as we uncover strengths and assets for positive community change. When appropriate, we conduct research through community engagement, focusing on qualitative data collection while employing techniques that empower participants. Our research designs incorporate qualitative and/or quantitative methods that are appropriate to the population and the desired outcome, while supporting optimal community participation in data analysis.

Current Change Consulting can tailor its training and coaching methods to the needs of varied and diverse audiences, ensuring that participants are empowered to positively affect the communities in which they live. Some standard training topics include: Design and Implementation of Community Assessment, Grant Writing for Collaborative Efforts, Planning Programs that Respond to Communities, Conflict Resolution for Collaborative Efforts, Collaborative Team-building and Leadership. In addition to formal training and ongoing coaching, Current Change can also assist groups directly with retreats, meeting facilitation to neutralize conflict, and strategic planning efforts.
